Scuba Barbados.

Best Dive Centre in Barbados
Thank you to everyone at West Side Scuba for delivering a fun and safe diving experience. My instructors (Taya and Don) were highly professional while keeping the dives fun. Arranging the dives through Peter was straightforward and he kept in close communication before I arrived. The dive centre is well run and the standard of equipment was very high. The entire team worked hard to ensure an efficient dive which kept things easy and relaxed for myself and the other divers. I enjoyed 3 tanks over a couple of days, including a skills refresher as I had not dived in a while. The instructors knew the sites well and the dives were unrushed, leaving plenty of time to explore. In Carlisle Bay we visited six wrecks of different sizes and conditions, all with a variety of sea life. We also enjoyed a deeper dive just southeast of Needhams Point. I highly recommend diving with West Side Scuba for divers of any level. I'll be sure to use them again next time I visit Barbados.

Excellent dive centre
Firstly, a big thank you to everyone at West Side Scuba for another brilliant diving holiday. This was our 6th diving holiday with West Side &, as always, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, both in & out of the water. This is a well-run, safe diving centre that offers a very high standard of customer service. All the staff work hard so that the customers don’t have to. The standard of the rental equipment is very good – this year they had some new BCD’s that have integrated weights pockets & trim pockets. We have our own regs but hire BCDs, wetsuits & fins & we didn’t have any problems with any of it. We were there for 2 weeks so we did a lot of dives & they did their best to take us to a variety of dive sites. Most of our dives were guided by Don & he did a really good job. He doesn’t rush round the sites as if he is taking part in an underwater race – all the dives were relaxed & we had plenty of time to look around. I would definitely recommend West Side - they cater for all levels of recreational diver, from those just wanting to give diving a try, to those who have dived for years.

Dive Experience in Barbados
My wife and I booked a two tank dive with West Side Scuba when we were in port on Celebrity Beyond. Peter Granum the owner coordinated pickup at the cruise dock and return. He communicated often leading up to the actual date. The excursion was perfect. His boat crew and dive masters were amazing. We hired a private instructor (Don) as we had not dove in 5 years. Don was side by side with us for both dives and made sure everything was perfect. West Side Scuba has been around 30 years and I recommend them highly. Oh, the dives were great too. Saw 3 wrecks - the water had unlimited visibility and for Michigan residents the 83o water was a pleasure. This dive was 3-27-24.

Great dive club, in perfect location
Did three days of diving with Peter and his team, they were a great crew, experienced guides, high quality rental equipment, safety well looked after, great location with their own pier so straight onto the boat and also a nice beach club at the dive centre for any non diving family members. An amazing diving experience for all levels!
West Side Scuba Centre delivered on all levels. This company has a great, enthusiastic, and caring staff who are committed to ensuring you have a good time not only while diving but also on the boat. I am an advanced open-water diver and I enjoyed the dives that were chosen. Another two friends joined me. One who was open-water certified and another who decided to get certified. To say we were all thrilled with the level of service would be an understatement. After 10 dives (5 days) I felt at home with Peter, Brandon, RJ, Pierre, and Don. I highly recommend this dive shop if you should come to Barbados!!! Thanks again for everything and looking forward to diving with you all again soon! P.S. I accidentally left my dive knife and not only did I receive a call that day to let me know I had left it but it was shipped back to the United States to my home (since I had already left the country). Best Diving in Barbados
West Side Scuba has a great team. We had amazing dives and at the same time, they made sure we were safe and well-briefed for each of the dives. Peter, who owns the business, has to be one of the loveliest people in Barbados. His son Brandon follows in his Dad's footsteps and brings new energy to an established business. Amazing diving for the whole family
We had a blast diving with WSSC for 2 days, mostly on wrecks. I am actually positively surprised that the wrecks around Barbados are really cool - in a great shape and teeming with life. Best dives in the Caribbean we’ve done so far. I loved the Stavro wreck - it’s really well preserved and there is a lot to see (100+ meters long!) - need to come back and explore in more detail :-) The dive center is absolutely fantastic - everything was well organized, on time and done in a very professional and friendly way - highly recommended! We could see the sites that we most wanted, too, which is really great! They even took care of our 7-year old son, while he was on the boat - this rarely happens on scuba diving boats. He could do some snorkeling or stay on board. Did my reseach for weeks to get the best dive center in Barbados until I found West Side Scuba. Communication with Peter was easy, and he's so kind to pick me up early morning. Had a great dive with Don - I was nervous after more than a year of not diving and Don made me feel really comfortable, going at the right pace. We saw some great shipwrecks, reefs, lots of sea creatures and even a few surprises. Highly recommend! Me and my husband went for our very first scuba diving experience. We enjoyed it thoroughly. I can't recommend West side scuba centre enough!!!! The diving instructor PETER IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. PETER AND CREW ARE EXCELLENT.  If it weren't for Peter the scuba diving experience wouldn't have been that amazing as it was. They give you proper instructions with practise before you go diving. This definitely has to be the highlight of my Barbados holiday. Would definitely love to do this again.
